Abstract[Bearbeiten]

Discusses mobilization and crystallization of gypsum. Slightly soluble gypsum crystallizes not only in the lower zone of rising damp but also in its drier, upper part. Here veils of gypsum are formed, resulting in a powdery decay of the surface. This process is supposed to relate to interactions with the simultaneously accumulated nitrate and chloride salts
